In the operational zone of the Society, where oil palm cultivation prevails, a pressing need emerged for weighbridge facilities. Acknowledging the lack of weighbridges within a 15 km radius, the Society took the initiative to fill this crucial gap for local farmers. The weighbridge is a priceless asset for oil palm, maize, and paddy farmers, offering on-farm weighment convenience. This eliminates the cumbersome task of transporting produce to distant factories for measurement, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency in the agricultural supply chain. The Society’s commitment to providing essential services underscores its dedication to the welfare of the farming community.
