Cattle Feed

Cattle Feed

Traditionally, farmers relied on conventional grass and brawn to feed cattle, often lacking essential proteins and minerals crucial for livestock health. In response, the Society took a proactive step, establishing a dedicated cattle feed plant. This facility ensures the supply of recommended feeds, optimizing milk yield by addressing nutritional gaps. Adhering to Buffalo Research Station guidelines, the feed composition incorporates 10 essential ingredients, including Maize, Wheat Brawn, Soya, Sunflower, Groundnut, Mineral Mixture, among others. This tailored approach guarantees that farmers provide their cattle with a nutritionally balanced diet, ultimately fostering improved health and enhanced milk production for the overall benefit of the farming community.

Pesticides

Recognizing the potential for exploitation in the pesticide sector concerning quality, pricing, and imitations, the Society initiated its own pesticide business. With a commitment to delivering superior pesticides for enhanced crop yield, the Society offers renowned brands such as Bayer, Syngenta, Tata Rallis, Indofil, Dhanka Agrotech, and Nagarjuna Agrochem. Operating on a 3.5% margin sales model, the Society has garnered the trust of nearly 2000 farmers who rely on it for their pesticide needs.

Fertlizers

In response to farmer members enduring inconveniences traveling 15 kilometers to acquire fertilizers, the Society established a fertilizer business. This strategic move aimed to alleviate concerns related to higher prices and dubious quality at private shops. The Society diligently maintained stocks from reputable companies including Coromandel, IFFCO, KRIBHCO, FACT, NFL, and Nagarjuna. By doing so, it not only brought convenience to farmers but also ensured access to fertilizers from trusted brands within the local community.
